A Chernivtsi hotel where the power stays on

When the city loses electricity, Luxor Inn & Suites continues operating normally. The hotel has its own backup-power system that switches over immediately.

What works during an outage

• Lighting in rooms and corridors
• Power sockets in rooms
• Wi-Fi and internet
• Hot water
• Heating

In other words, the hotel continues in its normal operating mode rather than providing only emergency lighting.

How long it lasts

The battery system can provide up to three days of autonomy. For longer outages, the generator takes over so the hotel can continue operating.

A note about the generator

When it is running, it may be faintly audible in three rooms at the edge of the building. If you are sensitive to noise, tell us when booking and we will place you in another part of the hotel when possible.

Shelter

The hotel building has three basement rooms with reinforced-concrete ceilings, lighting and water, with capacity for up to 30 people.

For remote work

Rooms with a work desk and stable internet are available for both short and long stays.
